Immerse Yourself in the Charm of Kazakhstan

Today, we will embark on a trip to the stunning CHARYN CANYON, a unique natural monument in Kazakhstan. With its age dating back 12 million years, the canyon's vertical cliffs resemble ancient castles shaped by wind, sun, and rain.

The journey to the canyon takes about 3 hours and our guide will provide interesting information about the region's history, nature, and the Kazakh people. Once you witness the grandeur of the Charyn Canyon, the distance traveled will be forgotten.

Explore the magnificent panorama and wander through the labyrinth of the VALLEY OF CASTLES with its towering walls.

Transfer to the village of SATY for an overnight stay in a homestay.

Today, you have the opportunity to hike from: 

KOLSAI LAKE 1 TO KOLSAI LAKE 2. Known as the "PEARLS OF THE NORTHERN TIEN SHAN"  the three KOLSAI lakes are a breathtaking cascade. The largest lake is easily accessible and is considered the most beautiful. The second lake, located higher up, requires a 3-4 hour hike along a mountain path.

Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisurely walk near the first lake and have a picnic.

Transfer back to Saty for another night in a homestay.

In the morning, we will transfer from Saty to Almaty.

Afternoon visit to KOK-TOBE mountains for panoramic views of the city. Stroll along the park's winding paths, admire the cityscape from the observation deck, toss a coin into the "apple" fountain, and explore the shop of national souvenirs. The tour concludes with a short ride on the famous Almaty cableway from the hilltop to the city center.

Transfer to the hotel.

Next, head to MEDEU GORGE, known for its high-altitude skating rink and dam protecting the city from mudflows. Enjoy a brief walk to capture mountain-view pictures and breathe in the fresh pine-tree air before taking a cable car to the Shymbulak ski resort area.

Return to the city by cable car.

Overnight in a hotel.

In the morning, we will visit LAKE ISSYK.

En route, explore the ISSYK STATE HISTORICAL and CULTURAL MUSEUM-RESERVE,  featuring exhibitions dedicated to the Saka period, including the Golden Man, gold items, ancient ceramics, weapons, and horse equipment. At an altitude of 1,756 meters, marvel at the beautiful high-altitude Lake Issyk, formed as a result of a mountain collapse thousands of years ago. Next, visit the Turgen gorge to see the impressive BEAR WATERFALL.

The road to the waterfall takes approximately 30 minutes (1 km) each way.

Return to Almaty for an overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning, we will transfer you to the airport.
